Beginning Saturday, May 2nd, Khenmo Sonam Choenzin will offer teachings on Gampopa’s Ornament of Precious Liberation, held weekly from 10am to 12pm and continuing through the end of July. This profound text presents a complete and systematic path of the Dharma, guiding practitioners from the very foundations to the realization of Mahamudra, and can be understood as a comprehensive guidebook for the spiritual traveler—one that, like careful preparation before a journey, lays out everything needed to successfully traverse the path.

With the Vajrasattva section now nearing completion, this is a meaningful moment to recognize the dedication, perseverance, and sincerity we have brought to the path so far as we look forward to Mandala.

Amitabha Weekend Retreat & Empowerment

Launching Our Sangha’s One Million Mantra Accumulation at Marpa Retreat Center

led by Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche with oral interpretation by Virginia Blum

Join us for a special weekend retreat dedicated to Amitabha Buddha, beginning with an Amitabha empowerment that will initiate our sangha’s collective aspiration to accumulate one million recitations of the Amitabha mantra. This retreat will be led by Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche, a holder of the title retreat master with deep experience guiding intensive, practice-focused retreats. Rinpoche is known for his ability to communicate profound dharma in a direct way as practical instruction that helps practitioners confidently engage in the actual practice and then bring it into everyday life.

Teachings on the 6 Paramitas,
The Perfection of Wisdom

The event will be held in person at our center in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and also on YouTube Livestream and Zoom Webinar.

Drupon Rinpoche will teach on The Six Paramitas, which are the main practices of the bodhisattva path and include generosity, ethical discipline, patience, diligence, meditative concentration, and wisdom.

Last weekend, Drupon Rinpoche taught the paramitas of diligence and meditative concentration. He will begin teaching on the perfection of wisdom this Sunday, December 24th.
